Happy Friday! New Friend Fridays!

Hello! Happy Friday to all my blogland friends! I am off work now and I can relax and enjoy my weekend! I will be eating a belated birthday dinner at my in-laws house tonight (my father-in-law's famous hamburgers!) and then tomorrow my friends are coming over and we are going to swim and get some sun! There is nothing better than relaxing by a pool with your friends during the summertime! It is so hot that how could you not?? LOL I hope everyone has a great weekend and I hope to meet some new friends on New Friend Fridays!

~Altered Bliss~

Good morning ladies! Happy Wednesday! One of my favorites hobbies is scrapbooking and I thought I would post a few scrapbooking items that I have made in the past...I really thought they deserve to be posted on my blog! They were really easy to make and didn't hardly cost anything to make! They are just what I need to organize my scraproom and decorate it as well!

I made this "Progress" scrapbook layout holder with a plastic container that I bought at Wal-mart and then I took some scrapbooking paper and some embellishment and "Viola!" This is how it turned out! Now I can keep all the scrapbooking layouts that I am working on in this holder!

I made this Post It Note holder with some cute scrapbook paper, ribbon, flowers, and buttons! It was real simple to make and cost hardly anything at all to make! I found this little box at a dollar store (Sorry! I can't remember which one!)...it already came with the paper inside of it! I really didn't like how the outside of the box looked so I thought I would jazz it up a bit!

Thanks for looking and have a wonderful Wednesday!

~Picture Perfect Frame~

I wanted to make something with a old picture frame that I had...I wanted to make something cute but easy and this is what I came up with! I took a picture frame and painted it black then aged it up with some white paint. Then I took some scrapbook paper and glue it to the cardboard inside the frame. I took a clothes pin and painted it black and then glued it to the paper inside the frame...glued a cute black and white plaid ribbon to hang it with and Voila! A cute way to display a favorite photo of mine! This is me and the hubby on Valentine's Day a couple years ago! I love this picture and what a cute way to show it off!

~Hobby Lobby Statue...Before and After~

I bought this cute little statue in the clearance aisle at Hobby Lobby...it was this weird brick color...Of course I had to jazz it up a bit!

This is what it looked like after I gave it a nice white coat of paint and added a little bit of distressing! It is not a huge project but it was a little extra fun project that I was able to do very easily!

Red, White, and Cute!

Centsational Girl

I was wanting to make a 4th of July wreath to put on my wreath hanger in my kitchen...so, of course, I ran to the nearest Dollar Tree and grabbed a few things! Here are the items which I used to make this festive 4th of July wreath!!

A wreath from the Dollar Tree

Some Patriotic tinsel I got at the Dollar Tree

Some pretty sparkly stars that I got from a store called The Paper Chase

The finished product! A very simple but festive and cheap project! I hope everyone has a happy and safe 4th of July!!
